We decided to go exploring in an area we have been tempted to go take a wander around in for a while - east of Nanango and about 115km north-west of Brisbane as the crow flies.
It basically turned into a glorified day-drive, but one that also included a peaceful night under the stars, staring into the fire and solving a problems of the world.
Long trips are always magnificent, but the short breaks are good for the soul too...
