If you are going to take your Jeep out of the garage once this year, Easter Jeep Safari better be your destination! The Safari is a bit earlier and colder this year - making for more jacket than sunscreen outdoor fun. We hit the road from Orange County, CA for a 15 hour drive through some of the prettiest country we see all year. Upon arriving in Moab we picked up the keys to our rental homes (dubbed the Rebel Forward Outposts) and met with our great friends Chris and Dennis from Knuckles Offroad, LLC. Early Monday morning we circled the Jeeps, loaded the ice chests, and hit the road for Golden Spike. What an amazing ride! The rocks are every bit as grippy as we remember and just as challenging. The majority of our group was running our RECON coilover conversion and only 4 rigs did not have 40" tires. We finished the trail as the sun began to set and the temps started to drop. Special thanks to Mrs. Knuckles Off Road for the home cooked meal.
