A week ago we built a scaled-up version of foamflyer.info's "So" series of scratch-built pusher planes to a 60" wingspan. This weekend we built an even larger version with an eight foot (96") wingspan... 2.5X larger than the 60" plane and a whopping 10X larger than the "So" reference design.
Parts: Home Depot 1/2" and 3/4" foam board, hot glue, aluminum HVAC tape, Turnigy G25 710kv motor, Turnigy Plus 60 amp speed controller, 2 x 2650 mAH LiPo batteries, OrangeRX 6-channel receiver, Hobbyking analog servos.
