Electric paramotor
A short demo of the C.L.E.O - Electric open source ultralight aircraft.
The paramotor / powered paraglider is using mostly of the shelf components such as an apco harness and Turnigy motors and speed controllers.

* The continues rating of the two motor controllers are 200A/50V each
* The battery in the video is my custom made small 1.27kWh battery. (Two can be used in parallel for greater range)
* The Engine Control Unit (ECU) is Ardunio FIO based and controls the engine output to minimize pilot error (full throttle at standstill etc)
* The wireless controller is using a Zigbee 2.4GHz modem for communication. (Powered by one AAA battery that lasts 36h)
* Total power output is tested at 100lbs+ (about the same as a 20hp ICE PPG)
