How to solve circuits using Nodal analysis
- Select one of the Nodes as Reference Node.
- Name the voltage on all the nodes you want to solve.
- Assume a direction of all the currents ( entering or leaving ) in a specific node.
- Write KCL equation for each node ad simplify the equations
- Replace the currents with their value according to Ohm's Law.
- Solve the equations and find the value of unknown voltages.
- Use this data to find the value of currents in each element of the circuit.
- Use the above found data to calculate power in each element.
