We have been working on some really good stuff here, and wanted to take a few minutes to give you an overview of what’s coming up.
First Up: You will have a much easier time tailoring Covenant Eyes to suit your needs because of some work we've done on My Account. Previously, we showed you a list view of the users on your account, and it often required several clicks to find the setting you wanted for a given user. Now we present you with a tile view of the users on your account. This allows you to see and edit nearly every setting for each user all from that main user management screen.
Next: We’ve made some big improvements to Accountability Reports. We've spun up a team devoted to long-term work on improving our Accountability reports. After all, accountability reports, are the primary way we deliver value to you, and they're meant to be a springboard for meaningful conversation between you and your accountability partner. We started this work with some design changes to give the reports a modern look and feel. This will make the reports easier to read, whether you're on a desktop computer or a mobile phone. We added a new Summary Module, at the top of the Report.
Which paints a clear picture of what items in the report need your attention. The last change here in phase 1 is an overhaul of the language we used in the Accountability Reports we were hearing time and again that our jargon was confusing...and frankly, we even had some inhouse confusion over it sometimes. So we started from scratch--working to use language that would bring clarity and certainty in what can be stressful confusing times. This is just the first wave of changes to accountability Reports. Stay tuned. Over the next several months, you'll see more improvements coming.
Finally: Android Filter. Yes. You heard me correctly. Android Filter. After lots of requests, I’m very pleased to announce that within the next week, we'll have a beta version of a filter for Android browsers. This beta Android filter provides protection on the most popular bowsers including Chrome, Browser, and Opera. For an up to date list of which browsers we filter, check out our website. Because we’re not able to filter every app yet, the Covenant Eyes filter for Android will work best if combined with our built in App Locking feature.
For parents and filter guardians, we recommend locking down browsers and apps that Covenant Eyes does not yet filter. Remember we still show every app that was used if you use our Accountability Service.
