About 25 years ago, Colombia was considered a dangerous country but today it's a beautiful and safe place to visit. The beauty is breath-taking. It is probably the most scenice country in South America. We were there in July 2017 and not for a moment did we feel unsafe. The presence of police is all over. The people are friendly even though most of them don't speak English. They are helpful and will go out of their way to help you. On our first day in Bogota, which is the capital of Colombia, we took a walk around the area. We were staying in the La Candelaria area and so we walked around, exploring it till quite late in the night. It was safe. There were lots of locals and the streets were alive. I believe it's like this almost every day of the week. Colombians like to socialize. Sorry for the shaky footage. We don't have the gadgets to stabilize the video although our hearts are set on this - http://amzn.to/2F3ZA4v. Maybe for a trip in the future. :)
Hope you enjoy the footage and please Like and don't forget to subscribe. Thank you.
