FerroKinetic is a collaborative art project that aims to build an interactive art making platform which uses a black magnetic fluid called ferrofluid as a medium. Our goal is to create this unique platform for artists, makers, and enthusiasts alike to work and interact with ferrofluid, while creating beautiful visuals using a selection of interfaces and techniques. The plans for this build will be open sourced upon project completion for anyone interested in remaking or customizing the piece.
Our team will build and stylize the very first itteration of this platform using the campaign funds from InvestYYC; However, this is only the begining. Our vision for this project is to open it up for future itterations to be developed, and allow others to make their own concepts come to life
