Ferry was exploring different electronic dance music genres to keep his motivation and inspiration in top gear. But having become sick of the dummified electronic dance scene after a while, he re-discovered a deep connection with his trance roots and brought Gouryella back to live.
Ferry Corsten wanted his music to reflect the deeper meanings of human life and Gouryella did just that. It brought back the essential of dance music to the main stage, much to the delight of trance fans around the globe, with gig requests shooting off the roof.
Ferry was lip-tight about the direction of Gouryella in 2017, but he ensured that it will not disappoint. One thing is for sure, Gouryella has become the "holy grail" of modern day trance music.
