This is a great airplane, it's faster than what I am used to. With the approach I have to make dropping down from above the trees, I will definitely be putting flaps on it soon. The control surfaces are huge. I, as a novice, had a hard time controlling it with 100% rates and 0 expo. I created dual rates on my Taranis 60% low rate. I also added 40% expo. I have never flown with expo but the Stratosurfer is super responsive with the large control surfaces.
The gyro was choppy. It was windy and I think my gains were too low for it. It was my first flight with a gyro. Maybe I need to get use to it and set my gains up a little.
