A short highlight from some really successful first flights on Sunday with my quadcopter.
My GoPro wasn't stabilized in this video, I expect to have my gimbal setup for my next video. Some extra tuning on the arducopter should reduce the wobble as well.
Music: Tribal Seeds - Daydreamer
Setup:
NEWERR DJI flame wheel knockoff frame.
-Works great & parts are cheap. Waiting on my Tarrot 650 Iron Man carbon frame though, folding frames are way better.
Arducopter 2.5 Board
UBLOX GPS + Compass
3DR Telemetry Module
MiniM OSD Module
Quattro 25A 4-in-1 ESC
4 x 700 Kv 200Watt 2200 Brushless Motors
APC 10" 4.5 Props
1000Line 0Lux IR Cut Security Camera for FPV
200 Mw Generic Video Transmitter and Receiver
-Two video out lines from the receiver allow for pushing the video onto mission planner, as well as use FPV goggles.
One Touch Video Capture
-This converts one of the video out signals from the video receiver from RCA to USB, so mission planner can show it on the HUD.
2 Go Pro mounts
NEWEER Landing Gear.
-I don't remember where I got these but they're plastic and have designed "breaking points" where you can pop them back together after a light crash, batteries & future gimbal are attached to these
Radioshack Insulated board mounts.
-These attach the frame to landing gear, the insulation helps reduce vibration
GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition
-Best video format I've recorded so far is 1080 super view at 60fps with pro tune turned on.
