So I got inspired by Ali to get my spares together and rebuild my Honey Bee King 3 from a bad crash last summer. The main motivation was to get rid of the flybar. Sorry for the less than perfect performance, it is not easy to hover while trimming cyclic, tuning gyro gain and rotor speed. Lack of stabilization and sudden wind changes did not help either.
I have now ordered 3 small gyros and will try to rig my very own diy "digital flybar" in hope to make it much more stable in windy conditions.
Stock esky transmitter, few parts in a rotor hub are alloy, the rest is all stock. A new main gear from ebay seems to be dodgy but will do for now.
