Today at Amazon's event, Amazon announced the brand new Fire Phone. Under the hood, the phone has a quad core 2.2 Ghz processor, Adreno 330 graphics processor, and 2GB of RAM. The Fire Phone features a 13 megapixel camera and takes better low light photos than the Samsung Galaxy S5 and iPhone 5s. For audio, the phone features Dolby Digital dual stereo speakers. Amazon knows headphones tangle easily, so amazon is including magnetic, flat, tangle-free headphones. In terms of the screen, the Fire Phone a 4.7-inch IPS LCD HD display with Gorilla Glass 3. One cool feature of the Fire Phone is Fire Fly. Fire Fly lets you take a photo of an item and tell you the price of amazon as well as recognize TV and music. The FirePhone features 3D capabilities and Amazon demoed the phone's ability with a maps app and a lock screen. Amazon is calling this dynamic perspective and will be available as an open SDK. For dynamic perspective the phone features 6 different cameras. The Fire Phone will cost $199 for a 32GB model and $299 for a 64GB model on AT&T and is available for pre-order today. The phone will be available July 25th. 12 months of amazon prime is included with this phone which if you pay for prime, essentially makes the phone $100. Are you on AT&T?
