The Face (or Face de Bellevarde to give it its full name) is Val d'Isere's infamous black Olympic downhill run.
Join me on a leisurely cruise down this run which varies from about 5 degrees to over 70 degrees in places and plunges almost 1km in just 3km of run (I'll let you work out the averages).
This was shot on the morning of a late March day in 2017. Not the best time of day and not the best time of the season but somehow the conditions were as good as I have ever found them on the Face.
