South Delhi Municipal Corporation is the first (a civic agency) who got its first working model of DELHI METRO at its CRC Museum,R.K.Puram sec.-6 under the education department of science branch. The center having six syllabus oriented galleries,the above working model is installed at the gallery of TRANSPORT covering the history of transportation. The above model get started functioning since 15 th. Dec.2011 as stated by the In chaarge/Asstt. Curator Shri Dhruv Prasad Soni working at this museum from the last more than 17 years.The CRC is the first of its kind caterring the need of our less privileged
school children under the south Delhi municipal corporation / Education . The Museum provides ferry bus service for the visit of this museum along with 3/4 other educational institutions in DELHI for our school children of primary schools.Shri Rajesh Kumar Pathak ,the first full fledged Director (P.Ed.) of South Delhi Municipal Corporation /Education inaugurated and unveiled the model at CRC on his frst visit at this Museum on the occasion
of TRAFFIC DAY.
