This video shows the Firtree (http://firtree.org/) example pipeline editor being used to apply real-time video effects to HD video being rendered by GStreamer (http://gstreamer.net/). The example application is written entirely in Python and uses the PyGTK, PyGStreamer and PyFirtree bindings.
All of the GUI (including the node editor) is written in Python.
