The Nepean River winds its way around south Sydney untill it reaches Richmond where it is known as the Hawkesbury River. It then makes its way out to sea. It the area around Penrith, it is fully freshwater and here you can catch Australian Bass, catfish, eels, Sea and freshwater mullet, Nepean river herring, goldfish and carp. On this day we were going after mullet by using the humble white sliced bread.
