This is a video showing how to mark up a chart for a single leg of a journey. We discuss measuring tracks, adding drift lines, adding check points and also some helpful tips. If you want to try this at home you need:
A Chart (1:250000 or 1:500000)
Ruler & Protractor (a plotter works, but the accuracy isn't as good)
Marker pens (Perm, not water based!)
Dry wipe marker
Cleaning cloth/rag/tissue
