Modras is a new project that was started by Fox Knives with master instructor Borut Kincl, Slovenian Special forces Instructor e founder of Kempo Arnis federation. The pourpose of the project is to develop and supply this special unit with a unique fighting knife for operative carry, plus a Limited Edition version that will be used as a symbol for them to use oll over the world.

Modras is the slovenian name of the Horned Viper, a venomous snake that inhabits the extreme north-western mountain of Slovenia and is very difficult to observe in its habitat. Its scales draw a distinctive and beautyful pattern and starting from there Fox Cutlery has created a special handle that for the tactical version is made in black or multicolor G10, while for the limited edition Cocobolo or Macassar Ebony is used.
