Range test of the PVR58 for Fatshark from Foxtech FPV. A supposed all-in-one FPV DVR.
/!\UPDATE: Even with a homemade 3 lobes antenna directly connected to the PVR-58 the reception is still terrible. I'll be posting a new range test very soon. /!\
I was flying with my Attitude SD Googles with a homemade 3 lobes Cloverleaf antenna which receives almost as good as my Spironets'.
The video image in my goggles was always perfect even at 900 meters (2952ft) whereas the PVR58 (With a better antenna) was having troubles at 500 meters (1640ft) and then "No signal" around 800 meters (2640ft).
I don't know whether there is an adjustment to make but for now the range is very disappointing. I was afraid of this since even though some chinese receivers have the same frequencies their reception is not as good as Fatsharks'.
I'll try to post a video with what receives the PVR58 and my goggles at the same time.
