This is the second test of a new DIY 5.8GHz 5T Helical antenna I build this days. Looks good.
You can heard RSSI FrSKY beap at +1.6KM first beap...
Im flying with an 2.4GHz DIY Half Wave Dipole on the RC Tx and same 2x on the D8R-II telemetry Rx.
Very good performance out of this with simple antenna change.
I can go further until I get more consistent beaps short duration then probably FailSafe kicks in...better save than sorry.
