Just ten years ago, if a studio was scoping budgets to make a shot like the one here for a movie, I imagine they would be looking at over a million dollars, and even then, it wouldn't have come close to the spectacular footage seen here.
Today all you need is a small fpv drone, a gopro and a pilot like Gabriel Kocher. Software like reelsteady has also enabled buttery smooth footage from basic platforms.
