How to setup iPhone for free text messaging on Delta Airlines flights via the Gogo InFlight wifi network.
As of September 2017, most Delta Airlines flights now offer free text messaging via iPhone's iMessage, What's App, or Facebook Messenger.
However, setting it up is not intuitively obvious. This video walks the user how to do the necessary steps to get your iPhone connected so that the Free text message will work over any one of those three applications.
Before you can do any texting, you have to connect your phones wifi to Gogoinflight SSID (wireless network ID).
Then you need to open a browser which should take you to the webpage for Delta where you can begin setting up the authentication that allows you to use your messaging app.
