The manufacturer claims that the strobes are visible for 3 miles at night - and are FAA compliant for night time UAV operations. Here I simply put three on the A-10 - 2 white strobes on the wings and 1 red strobe on the bottom of the aft fuselage....all affixed with Velcro so they can be moved from plane to plane. We were about 5 mins from total darkness (hence the grainy appearance of the video) and the strobes were EXTREMELY effective. Live appearance was actually brighter than what you see on the video.
