The topic for my proposed presentation is the Ganeti project. "Ganeti" is an open source management system for managing virtual machines. It originally started as a Google internal project, but has grown to be used and developed by several groups outside of Google, including major community hosting at the OSU Open Source Lab. Ganeti allows the use of several different hypervisors such as Xen and KVM, and allows live migration and automatic replication.
