We spontaneously decided to visit Heidelberg on the weekend, so we hopped on a train and one hour later we were already there. In the morning the weather was still fine but later on it got cloudy and a little rainy from time to time. Heidelberg is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. The city is situated on the river Neckar in south-west Germany and is fifth-largest town in the State of Baden-Württemberg. The city is famous all over the world and is a very popular destination among international tourists due to its romantic and picturesque cityscape, including Heidelberg Castle and the baroque style Old Town.
