DEPENDABLE PERFORMANCE
o The gas burner has essentially no danger of a backfire as it employs an
external (dispersion) mixture combustion method.
The gas burner assembly includes inbuilt :-
o Fan motor,
o Ignition transformer and electrode,
o Flame sensor, sequence controller,
o CKD make block and bleed gas solenoid valve.
o Air pressure switch
o Gas pressure switch.

EASE OF MAINTENANCE
Both the main and the pilot burner are so designed as to allow simple removal
and reinstallation, thus providing ease of inspection, cleaning and other
maintenance.
SAFETY-FIRST DESIGN
This ensures stable combustion The burner and controller are safety-first
designed in conformity to the safety requirements for the gas appliances and
equipment.
TWO SET POINT TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER.
The burners will be hooked up to a temperature controllers for automatic
control of temperature.
TWO STAGE BURNER MODEL
o Ensures right air + fuel mixtures at both high -- low flame conditions.
o Efficient combustion with lower excess air operation which results in lower
gas consumption.
o Come with three gas valves, one common and one each for low flame and
high flame conditions.
Stage Vs Two Stage
Two Stage: Has high-low-off type of operation/control. Gas flow in
both stages can be independently adjusted for controlling gas flow.
Servo motor actuated air damper motor control air flow during high/low
operations. The damper motor settings can be adjusted manually & set
depending on the gas flow rates.
Single Stage: Single ON / OFF kind of operation with manually operated
air damper. The gas valve and air damper is required to be adjusted
manually to achieve various heat release within the operation range of the
burner.
Operational Advantages/Safety
A. 100% air & gas is premixed before combustion ensuring highest
combustion efficiency & lower gas consumption.
B. Air pressure switch is used to trip the burner if air flow to the burner for
combustion is closed by mistake/ accidentally leaving gas rich condition
in the furnace / drier which could lead to accidents. This ensures
operational safety.
C. Gas pressure switch used to trip the burner is high gas pressure is
encountered in the burner due to failure of PRV etc., This also leaves a
gas rich condition in the furnace / drier ensuring operational safety.
D. Start Up / Shut Down / Normal operation of the burner is controlled
through a pre-programmed burner sequence controller with
predetermined timings for purging, ignition, valve opening, etc. The
flame sensing and signals from air and gas pressure switches are
monitored on continuous basis.
E. Flame sensing throughout the burner operation ensures full safety of the
equipments downstream against accidents / explosions.
F. Safety features of Olympia Burners:
a. Flame rod to sense the flame continuously throughout burner operation.
b. Pre-Programmed gas burner sequence controller which controls/activates the
--Fan Operation -- Purging
--Ignition Transfer -- Gas Lighting
--Gas Valve Opening
--Flame Sensing (allow burner operation or close the gas valve if flame not
available).
--Continuous monitoring of signals from air and gas pressure switches.
c. APS / GPS to prevent no air flow / high pressure gas combustion to burner.
d. Gas Valves used to prevent high pressure gas from entering the burner & also
to prevent flame reversing back.
e. Alarm output during burner trip conditions available for indication purposes.
