Rogue One is a 2016 American epic space opera film directed by Gareth Edwards and written by Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy, from a story by John Knoll and Gary Whitta. The story follows Jyn Erso, daughter of the unwilling designer of the Galactic Empire's superweapon the Death Star, and her mission to retrieve the schematics so it can be destroyed.
Michael Giacchino is an American composer of music for films, television and video games. He composed the scores to the television series Lost, Alias and Fringe, the video game series Medal of Honor and Call of Duty and the films Mission: Impossible III, Ratatouille, Up, Jurassic World, Inside Out, Zootopia, Doctor Strange and Rogue One. Giacchino has received an Emmy Award and multiple Grammy Awards, as well as a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award for his work on Up.
