I built a Shapeoko 2. It was good for a few days, then I decided to enlarge it to 5x5. Then I upgraded to a 2.2kW Chinese spindle, which required a monster z axis update, and a much more rigid 60 x 120 gantry. A few of the v wheels are still from the original Shapeoko 2 kit, but it is mostly custom.
