The event started at the town's Market Place, a lot of singing, dancing & poetry here, then a procession up the High Street, to the White Spring Building is seen, followed by a short walk (with me sounding out of breath!) to Chalice Hill, or the part of it known as Bushey Coombe.
This is a temporary note with this video; more shall be added later.
The video is only part one of two; this one was shot with my vintage camcorder, which only allows for 4:3 ratio full-screen shooting, and is slightly passed it now!
Part two was shot with my modern HDD camcorder, in 16:9 ratio, and will show the erection of the Maypole,and the musical setting, dancing and end of ceremony.
