A film that needs to be watched many times in order to catch all the hidden jokes and animation in the foreground and background - did you see the deliberate homage to the old dinosaur films? The ones where a lizard would be used with some fearsome bits sellotaped to its' back? After all the film company's budget would not stretch to a real dinosaur.
Some of the animation on the film is second to none... after all some of the Aardman animators were working on it.(though you could say that the rather rough quality of claymation used in the TV series was part of the charm.This roughness has been forsaken in the quest for "perfect smooth claymation" and perhaps something has been diluted in the process.) All in all it's a good laugh! Bring back Gogs S4C ....
