Jeremy Duffy's Presentation "Good Bye Identity Theft" at UAT's Fall 2011 Tech Forum.
Bio: Jeremy is a "geek" and is similar to most other geeks you've met or heard of. With over 19 years of computer experience ranging from programming to secure system design, he's well equipped to understand the benefits, but also the risks that come from "cyber" technology.
But unlike the rest of his people, Jeremy is an accomplished and award-winning public speaker. Having spent years teaching and training technology and risk management to government agencies, contractors, and the military, Jeremy has perfected his ability to explain complicated concepts in simple ways to audiences of all skill levels and backgrounds.
As a specialist in information risk management, Jeremy will explain how identity theft was caused by poor data handling practices and how properly applied privacy and data control will end the identity theft problem. Attendees can be expected to learn a little about the problem and a whole lot about the solutions that will make them many orders of magnitude less likely to become victims.
