Dave Burke redefines Maslow's theory to have battery life of our phones to take precedence over food, water and shelter. With that he's promising that Android P now has 30% reduction in CPU app wakeups. Adaptive brightness, a new feature to automatically adjust screen brightness based on the ambient environment of the phone's location. App action: a feature where Android suggests with 60% accuracy on what user may do next on 60% prediction rate. If you searched for a movie, app action may recommend you book a ticket with a ticketing app on your phone. Slices API for developers to build interactive features with Android, the enhanced visual looks like a neatly arranged deck of cards on a solitaire game, only with much less clutter and more material design. Android P Beta coming out soon for developers to try things out that was announced at I/O 2018.
