It looks like Google and Xprize have decided to cancel the Lunar XPRIZE competition after finding that none of the teams will launch before the March 31st deadline. The five remaining teams are Team Indus, Hakuto, Moon Express, Space IL and Synergy moon. These teams were the last five out of the original teams that entered the competition. They all had scheduled flights for late 2017 but none of them could achieve that deadline. This moonshot program was designed to give private space companies a prize for reaching the moon, travelling 500 meters and sending back videos and pictures. The five finalist for the google lunar x prize teams are Spaceil, Moon Express, Teamindus, Synergy Moon and Hakuto. These are all privately owned space companies with team Hakuto being run by Ispace from japan. It seems that most of them will continue to try to land on the moon.. I know Moon Express has a plan to launch using the Electron rocket to put their craft on the moon.

We will look at new satellite tech and of course anything cool with the lab in the sky our International Space Station.
