Federated Farmers was at the global launch of Google's Project Loon (www.google.com/loon/). This radically cool science will utilise steerable balloons set in rings around latitudes at 20 kilometres high (stratosphere), to deliver internet over vast areas of sea and land. When balloons start to lose lift they are steered towards landing points. The global launch took place in Christchurch, New Zealand, at the Wigram Air Force Museum on 15 June 2013.
