I've been thinking about how to mount a GoPro camera on a kayak to get as wide as field of view as possible.
I mocked up this mount using a piece of PVC pipe, a GoPro roll bar mount and two lengths of 100lb fishing line to steady it to see how the view was from this perspective.
I like the perspective it provides so I'm going to look to design something a bit more permanent but still home made.
This worked pretty fine considering the simplicity of the design but this was in flat water. Time to test her it in some rough stuff.
