Omega-3 essential fatty acids, "good" fats that have been shown to have heart-healthy effects. Each tablespoon of ground flaxseed contains about 1.8 grams of plant omega-3s. Lignans, which have both plant estrogen and antioxidant qualities. Flaxseed contains 75 to 800 times more lignans than other plant foods.
Ingredients:
1 cup freshly ground flaxseeds
1 cup boiling water
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp coriander/cumin powder
1 tsp salt to taste
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp crushed methi leaves
Method:
To boiling water add oil and salt ,
after a minute add the ground flaxseed ,
along with spices ,
keep stirring to avoid lumps
for 10 min until it forms a dough consistency,
remove from stove and cool for 30 min
Make lemon size balls
roll into a greased parchment paper
use two parchment paper to roll out the
dough as it will be sticky
To make perfect shape and size use a cutter or a lid
and cut around the edges
heat the griddle and grease oil
carefully place the rolled dough
let it cook for 30 sec ,flip and repeat the process.
transfer the tortillas into a plate
serve with side dishes of your choice
