1. Village of twins
Kodinhi is a village in Malappuram district in
Kerala, India.The village is situated close to the
town of Tirurangadi and, as of 2008, is home to
around 2,000 families.
The village entered the international spotlight
when a survey done by locals found an
unusually large number of twin births in the
region
The village is noted for having a high twinning rate
although India has one of the lowest twinning rates
in the world.On average, four out of every 1,000
Indian births are twins. In Kodinhi, the number is 45
per 1,000 births.
Doctors have absolutely no idea what is causing
this strange phenomenon. They assume there must
be some unknown hereditary factor at work, or
maybe it's something they eat
2. The Nine Unknown men
According to some theories, the Nine Unknown
Men are a two millennia-old secret society founded
by the Indian Emperor Asoka 273 BC, who was the
grandson of Chandragupta
after a bloody battle that took the lives of 100,000
men
Each of the Nine is supposedly responsible for
guarding and improving a single book. These books
each deal with a different branch of potentially
hazardous knowledge. Traditionally, the books are
said to cover the subjects like Psychological,Physiology,Microbiology,Alchemy
including the transmutation of metals
,Communication including communication with
extraterrestrials Gravitation, Cosmology ,Light
,Sociology
The number of the Unknown Men is always nine,
and their undisguised contacts with the outside
world are few and their identities remain a
mystery
3. Kuldhara: An Abandoned & Cursed Village of Rajasthan
The village was established in 1291 by the Paliwal Brahmins and was a rather prosperous community due to their ability to grow bumper crops in the rather arid desert.
But one night in 1825 all the people in Kuldhara
and nearby 83 villages vanished in dark. Why did
the villagers decide to leave their settlement
after having lived there for more that 7 centuries.
Whatever the actual cause of desertion, one thing is generally agreed upon—when the villagers left, they cursed the area so that no one may live there ever again
According to legend, all who tried died a brutal
death Whether all of this is true or not, the village
has certainly gained a frightening reputation. It
remains deserted to this very day,
4.The Immortal Beings Of The Himalayas
In many mythologies, mountains are natural
homes to divine and immortal beings The
number of mysteries surrounding Himalayas
is as big as the might range itself.
Yeti, the abominable snowman is said to
inhabit the Himalayas of Tibet and Nepal.
Many mountain climbers have witnessed
mysteriousred snowfall with red spots sprinkled
over the ice.
all these legends give rise to many questions
but answers to them remains a mystery?
5. Mysterious Luminescent Lights of Bay of Bengal
On December 28, 1929, when the British steamship Talma was enroute to Calcutta in Bay of Bengal, everyone on board witnessed small luminous balls arising from under water and breaking at the surface
They later appeared like flashes of lightning
under the water and quickly transformed into
regular beams. They curved into a pattern of
spokes of a wheel that rotated rapidly.
Similar phenomenons were reported a lot of
times on Indian seas; especially in Bay of Bengal.
A more plausible assumption might be
luminescent bacteria or phytoplankton, but their
bizarre pattern does raise questions
