1.21.19 Update
This was my first attempt at making a video (Six years ago lol) Yes, I got a little excited with the background music....I made the video to show a few people (including the lifeguard) and forgot all about it...until now lol. Come on...this man saved a kid...he deserved an epic theatrical song.
The man wearing the “ocean proof” fedora was NOT the lifeguard. The reason the man wearing the fedora handed the child to the lifeguard was bc the lifeguard told him too. The man was walking toward the shore which is a classic mistake in a situation like this..hence why he kept getting hammered by waves. The lifeguard was walking parallel with the shore in order to escape rip current, and then brought the child to safety. The child was fine, and the lifeguard was a hero that day.
As for the fedora never falling off...I think it is fair to assume that the hat was way too small for his head. That fedora will always be legendary...I hope he still has it.
