HANDMADE CYANOTYPE POSTCARDS
An amazing series of postcards depicting 12 among the most typical species of fish living in the Trasimeno Lake.
Every illustration has been hand drawn by the creative label @MovimentoLabel and hand-printed by @Lucetipo, a small artisan print shop using alternative photographic printing techniques.
Every single step of the project has been fulfilled with the love for the Trasimeno Lake territory, where Movimento Creative Label and Lucetipo are based.
Every postcard is printed on 300g Fabriano paper sheets, certified as acid-free and produced using renewable energy.
Cyanotype is an old printing process using iron salts. It was developed for the very first time in 1842, exploiting the reaction of a photosensitive emulsion to the uv rays, which results in an intense prussian blue image.
CARTOLINE ARTIGIANALI IN CIANOTIPIA
Una serie di cartoline da collezione raffiguranti 12 tra le più caratteristiche specie di pesci che popolano il lago Trasimeno.
Ogni illustrazione è stata progettata e disegnata dall'etichetta creativa @MovimentoLabel e stampata artigianalmente con la tecnica della cianotipia da @Lucetipo, piccola stamperia che riscopre i processi alternativi di stampa fotografica.
Ogni fase del progetto è stata realizzata con cura e con tutto l'amore e l'entusiasmo per la propria terra, il proprio lago, dove Movimento Creative Label e Lucetipo vivono e lavorano.
Tutte le stampe sono su carta Fabriano 300g, certificata acid free e prodotta con energia idroelettrica.
La cianotipia è un antico processo di stampa ai sali di ferro, inventato nel 1842, che sfrutta la reazione di un'emulsione fotosensibile ai raggi del sole (raggi UV) producendo un’immagine caratterizzata da un intenso blu di prussia.
