It only took 7 years but I got my endgame!!! It was weirdly soft, very rushed, and if I was to sit down and hardcore criticize it, I'd find more things wrong with it but you know what??? HE'D WAIT. FOREVER IF HE HAD TO.
Just to maintain my dignity as a creator, the entire structure of this video is more of a dual character study rather than a romantic piece. Obviously it's still about the two of them as a couple, and what they brought out in each other, but the song really demanded that I address the real tragedy: being trapped after death and never finding real peace. For Violet, especially, it's devastating and I really wanted to emphasize the claustrophobic nature of both the house AND their relationship.
Anyways, they still have some of the most intense chemistry I've ever seen onscreen and it's kept me coming back even though I feel that I've grown out of the obsessive infatuation I had with them and this show. Murder House is still the best, I said what I said.
