This is the first flight test of my new hexacopter at nightfall in Rio de Janeiro.
Here is the complete drone description:
Tarot FY680 carbon fiber frame,
Tiger Motor 2814-10 770KV,
Carbon propeller 1150,
Turnigy ESC 40A,
Naza MV2 attached to the frame by 4 shock absorbers rubber,
IOSD Mini, Zenmuse H3-2D and 5,6Ghz radio.
8 channel Spektrum receiver with Satellite,
One Turnigy battery 6000 mah, 2 x Thunder power RC battery 4400 mah TOTAL 14400maH,
Takeoff weight 4800 gr,
Flight time 15 minutes with very stable gopro3+ record,
Gpro3+ in HD 60fps,
Gimbal rail attached to Tarot frame by 4 rubber absorbers and Gimbal attached to rail with 4 shock rubbers.
The first test was so good with this setup and I don’t see any bigger change to improve the overall performance of this flight frame.
Changes to be implemented are:
Longer rail tube to prevent arm record,
Carbon propeller 1238 and 1340 performance and flight time test,
ESC cables shorter and new drilled ESC protection cover,
New set of battery to achieve 20 minutes flight time.
