Here is a quick vid to show you a hidden adjustment for those looking for the perfect setting.... On the tranny case near the location the HI lo servo saver connector is is a small opening that has a screw /spring adjuster that can control the amount of pressure on the HI LO GEAR pin.
I found that dirt got trapped in there and my gear pin got stuck while digging around to clean and maintain after mudding I ran across the cure to my problem cleaned and lubricated this lock mechanism and now I am switching gears quickly and smoothly...
I Hope the vid helps, sorry about the movement my 5 year old daughter helped me when my tripod broke but she was a little shaky....
