The Changing the Guard Ceremony is a dazzling spectacle held each morning from late June to late August, assembled from two regiments - the Governor General's Footguards and the Canadian Grenadier Guards. Most of the Ceremonial Guardsmen are young college students; all of the Guardsmen are primary reservists in the Canadian Forces.
