This material came from a family friend, it has been transferred from 8mm film and dates from approx the 1950's.
It shows the tractors and timber trucks of the era, the dangerous work practices, timber milling and also some scenes of life in a timber mill village. This includes a "blitz" truck moving what appears to be an outdoor toilet!
The exact locations are unknown, but it is believed to have been in the Wauchope region of north NSW, Australia.
