Since crossing paths at Gottwood Festival in Wales and playing together at the much lauded Pecolate, the duo found a mutual love in the other’s vast record collections, planting the seed that has flourished into their debut release. ’The People’s Asafo’ showcases their kaleidoscope of far reaching influences, an African infusion of Ghanian beat blends and warm house grooves which mould and morph over a blissful 8 minutes. B-side ‘He’s The Chief’ builds upon this template and two tracks sit perfectly alongside each other.
