This is my breakdown, rebuild and review of these shocks from HobbyKing

They are very poorly assembled but with some very inexensive Traxxas hardware (#TRA3768 & TRA1633) you can actually get some VERY decent performance out of these shocks paired up with some decent springs! I use 100mm shocks all around on my hyper 10sc, but if you need the shorter shocks for the front like on the slash or stampede 4x4's they also sell and 85mm aluminum shock as well. They also carry blue and purple versions of both sizes :)
Also if you look through the parts section of their SCT 4x4's there are some even better aluminum shock options, at a higher price though.
