Some air to air formation flying of the Hobbyking Durafly Retro Junior. The video was from @Steve Smetters Flitetest Batbones Tricopter and the Blackout Spider Hexacopter. All video with taken with a GoPro Hero 2, and filmed at the Hilliard Model Airplane Club.
The Durafly Retro Junior is a great model to fly and I enjoy flying it every time I go to the field. However, there are two issues, one the ailerons are worthless. I have the rudder setup on the aileron channel and fly it like a old timer 3 channel airplane. Also, the axle the wheels mount to was loose and the wheels will end up rubbing effectively creating a brake on one wheel. This make landings very interesting. I replaced the stock axle with a longer one and solider it in place and use extra large inflatable Texler tires. This made the model fly even better and touch and go are more fun than ever :)
