What an epic star party this one was. 5 out of 6 nights were clear as a bell until about 2am. Friday night we had some sustained winds and showers but what an amazing time. My friends from the YouTube channel All Thing Sabine joined me for a couple nights of observing. Check out their channel at:

The state of Louisiana has been served a letter of delinquency by the Hodges Foundation. If the state fails to fully fund the park this summer it will be given back to the Hodges Foundation and will no longer be open to the public. This would spell the end of the Hodges Gardens Star Party. If you live in Louisiana or just love Hodges Gardens, please make your voice heard. Contact the state representatives and tell them to keep Hodges Gardens! Will there be a HGSP 2018? Only time will tell. Thanks for watching!
