Shaun Taylor and I were invited to spend a day at Holloman AFB with Capt. Geoff Guerdrum (MQ-9 Pilot and Instructor) for the Innovation Demo to demonstrate and educate FPV Drone Racing for retired Gen. John Jumper (former U.S Air Force Chief of Staff), Col. Houston Cantwell (49th Wing Commander) as well as top leadership and base personnel.
We had a great time and got to put on an exhibition race inside one of the hangars!!! We were also given a tour of the training facilities where the MQ-9 Reaper drone pilots and sensor operators are trained. We had the opportunity to fly the MQ-9 simulator and get a close up look at the Reaper!!!
